Christine Vacin, LCSW

Christine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who utilizes a psychodynamic and strength-based approach to explore and work through problems concerning self-esteem, anxiety, codependency, addiction, trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, adjustments to motherhood, and relationship dynamics. She enjoys helping clients identify and develop successful tools to help clients overcome difficult life challenges and gain a sense of empowerment.  She is also fully trained in EMDR therapy (evidence-based therapy used to help with the symptoms of PTSD and unresolved emotions and trauma).  Additionally, she believes mind body wellness can be a key tool to unlocking individuals' potential and seeks to incorporate this practice when appropriate.  She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with an MSW and a specialization in children and families. 

MISSION:

Christine's approach is to meet clients where they are and develop a customized program that supports goals with a gentle, non-judgmental, clinical perspective.  Through gaining awareness, clients can make different choices and utilize a variety of tools that will help heal and ultimately change outcomes.  

INSURANCE and FEES:

 Christine is dual licensed in both Illinois and Nevada.

Insurance Plans Accepted

BCBS PPO, Aetna and United Healthcare Plans.

Out of Network Fees

$175 a session and a sliding fee is also available.

Monthly invoices provided on request to be submitted for out-of-network client reimbursement for all other insurance companies.
